Diesel Mechanic

Ed Vintner Automotive has a full time position available for a diesel mechanic. Hours are weekdays 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. We're an equal opportunity employer.

Job Description

• Diagnose diesel vehicle problems and perform the proper repair procedure
• Perform regular maintenance and examine parts
• Raise vehicle with hydraulic jack or hoist to gain access to mechanical units bolted to underside
• Examine specified safety devices on trucks and makes adjustments
• Reline and adjusts brakes, align front end, repair or replaces shock absorbers and solder leaks in radiator.
• Clean tools and maintain clean working environment.
• Other, non-essential duties as required

This position requires walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, and stretching. You must have a high school diploma and be able to lift 100 lbs to be eligible for this position. 2+ years of experience preferred.
